Here are few questions I had for him, that hopefully will inspire you, too! His tactic (and couldn't agree more) - focus on the accessories to make your style.
- What key thing do you think about when figuring out what to wear? I am a shoe addict, so I will consider the occasion and start with what shoes I want to wear. Do I go oxford/loafer or sneakers? Then go from there...
- What's your favorite way to make a personal statement in your attire? Again, shoe addiction. You can really dictate the feeling of a whole outfit with a pair of shoes.
- Any favorite lesser known brands you want to give us the scoop on? For classic looks, I like Todd Snyder, for more out there fashion, I'm a huge fan of Damir Doma. For shoes, Buttero, Marsell, or Singh and Son.
- What's the best style steal you've come across? End of season sales, online or at stores. Wait till the end of a season - aim for the classic splurges - and use your accessories to keep things current.
- Favorite accessory to finish it off? What brand? A Watch. Don't be afraid to spend some money on a watch though, you get what you pay for.
