- Read the description - Tommy Bahama example at Nordstroms. See "Size" section -> "cut with a little extra room through the chest." Read this as a boxier or roomier fit.
- Know your physique. Lastly, consider your body. Are you on the leaner side? If yes, slim fits will be ideal and you probably won't need to size up. More athletic? A leaner, slim fit will still look great, but you may need to size up.
